Bernhard Edmaier, nacido en 1957, había sido un geólogo antes de hacer la fotografía su profesión hace 20 años y fundó una agencia fotográfica ‘Geophot – Fotos de la Tierra’. Vive en Ampfing, cerca de Munich, Alemania.
La Geología constituye la base de su fotografía. Es su objetivo presentar los colores múltiples, formas y estructuras que la Tierra se ha creado sin la intervención del hombre. La técnica que utiliza en su trabajo es la fotografía aérea.

Geology constitutes the basis of his photography. It is his aim to present the manifold colours, forms and structures which the Earth has created without man’s interference. The technique he uses in his work is aerial photography.
